Founded in 1873, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, is a member of the West Berks Mission District of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Located at 5 Brooke Manor, our church campus is situated on the former site of one of the Brooke mansions. The Brooke family was one of the early industrialists in the area. Our congregation maintains an active program of ministry, with a number of community groups meeting in our buildings in addition to our own church groups.

Today we celebrated our graduating seniors! Nathan, Rachel, Maddi and Lauren are just a few weeks away from stepping out into the big world! Congrats to our scholarship recipient Rachel!
Busy day for our men’s group. We were at the Synod office in Allentown removing several bushes, trimming hedges, removing a flower box and cleaning up the property. Thanks to all who came out to work.

Great day at the Birdsboro Street Fair - free flowers and cards for kids to give to their mothers and even some ukulele lessons! Thanks to everyone who helped. Thank you Boone Library for sponsoring the event. And special thanks to the Birdsboro streets department for all of their hard work especially cleaning up after the event.
Recording the first episode of “Christ in the World “ a monthly podcast by St Mark’s Lutheran Church. During this episode, we discussed music in worship and being good stewards of God’s creation. Join us this morning as the Youth lead our worship service and provide the message of the day and the Ukulele Band plays the offertory. Belgium waffles after service to top it off!

Earth Day at St Mark’s. After the group worked on edging and mulching Birdsboro, they filled in two of our new Community Gardens so that we can plant them for the food pantry. Thank you to everyone who helped out this morning especially our cub scouts and Girl Scouts. And thank you to the Dt Mark’s Food Ministry who served up lunch to all the volunteers.
Attended an interfaith worship service today at Alvernia University. Christian, Jewish and Muslim believers gathered together to worship God. The theme of the service was radical hospitality in a world that desperately needs hospitality rather than hate.
